Employee Ownership Association
Enterprise Tax Centre are pleased to announce that they have joined the Employee Ownership Association (EOA) as a supporter member.
The EOA represents organisations which are employee owned or transitioning to employee ownership across the UK. It is a not for profit and politically independent organisation that works in close partnership with its members to champion, promote and provide insight into the business case for employee ownership. Members benefit from unique learning, networking and trading opportunities across the network of diverse companies of all sizes and sectors.
The EOA is influential, on behalf of members, with policy makers, the media, Government and a range of other audiences. Their campaigning has played a key role over the years in shaping the tax and legal environment for employee owned businesses.
Sharon Collier from Enterprise Tax explained “By joining the EOA as a supporter member Enterprise Tax are highlighting our commitment to providing high quality tax advice and support to companies looking to implement employee ownership.”
Sharon has a particular interest in the area of employee remuneration and share ownership and how it supports business growth and development. She has lots of experience working with all types of company to engage and motivate their employees, including the use of share incentives.
Employee share incentives can deliver huge value to companies at many stages in their lifecycle – from a start-up using Enterprise Management Incentive (“EMI”) to attract a key employee they need to take the business forward to a business owner looking to exit from a business built throughout their life and considering transition to an employee owned business using an Employee Ownership Trust.
Enterprise Tax look forward to being part of the EOA and supporting the objective of delivering value to all stakeholders through employee ownership.
