It is largely accepted that Everton won this year’s transfer window.
However, I am pleased to say that ETC Tax’s recruitment since the Spring has also been equally top notch.
Last week, we welcomed Chris Watts, Zeeshan Khilji and Lauren McKenna to the team. This week, we welcome Pete Loughlin.
Chris joins us from PKF Francis Clark where he joined as an apprentice in 1996 and had worked his way up to Director level. Chris is a mixed tax adviser but has developed a specialism in tax disputes and investigations.
Chris is based in the South West and will help us with our growth in London and the South.
Zeeshan joins us, most recently, from Baldwins. He is a corporate tax specialist and has developed as specialism in M&A and other transactions. He is based in Birmingham and will establish and grow our presence in the Midlands.
This is Lauren’s first role since leaving school and she joins as an apprentice in our business support team.
Pete joins us as a Business Development Manager. He has had a number of roles including recently working for an independent tax practice. He is eager to re-engage with existing contacts and develop new relationships.
These new recruits complement the senior appointments made earlier in the year. These included Sophie Chamberlain, a Private Client specialist as a Senior Manager, Simon Denye, a corporate tax expert, who joined as an Associate Director and Keith Miller, a VAT specialist who joined us as an Associate Director.
As to which one is James Rodriguez, I guess time will tell!
These are exciting times for ETC Tax. We have grown our revenues by 20% in the last 12 months and, despite the current challenges, September 2020 represented our most successful month in the firm’s history.
